Mechanical Design Engineer (full-time)
Job Description
We have an excellent full-time opportunity for a self-motivated Mechanical Engineer Designer to perform design and management of mechanical, and piping systems for HVAC. Job Requirements and Qualifications
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
- Minimum 5-7 years of Industry experience
- Minimum 2 years AutoCAD and SolidWorks experience in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant fields
- HVAC, Piping and Plumbing design experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Prepare engineering design, specification, and/or recommendations for HVAC, plumbing, and piping
- Field experience: Resolve mechanical/installation issues
- Experience in manufacturing using steel products and design
- Experience with ASME, CSA and Technical Safety
Good-to-Haves
- Boiler design experience
- Experience in hydronics
- Confidence to meet with clients and do business development
- PEng status
